Job Overview

This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of Quality Engineering principles, AI/ML testing methodologies, and DevSecOps practices to drive innovation, efficiency, and quality across the organization.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Quality Engineering (QE) strategy that integrates AI/ML and DevSecOps principles, aligning with the broader IT strategy to drive continuous improvement across all QE teams
  • Lead efforts to centralize, modernize, and update QE practices and policies, ensuring scalability of resources for sustained success and growth, while integrating AI/ML and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Collaborate with senior technology leadership, including the CIO, CTO, Sr./Director-IT, and other key stakeholders, to prioritize strategic systems initiatives and ensure end-to-end quality assurance of all enterprise IT solutions with AI/ML and DevSecOps considerations
  • Provide clear leadership to the IT Quality Engineering group, enforcing a process-driven methodology to ensure adherence to Project/program goals, QE standards, and enterprise best practices
  • Partner with Business and IT Development teams to review requirements and guide QE leads or managers in developing comprehensive enterprise QE strategies/plans
  • Oversee QE recruiting and vendor management activities, including hiring and managing employees and contractors, and maintaining Client/vendor contracts and SLAs for outsourced arrangements
  • Define and establish new best practices, processes, scorecards, and tooling for the Quality Assurance organization to measure and improve productivity and quality, incorporating AI/ML and DevSecOps principles
  • Lead the integration of security practices into DevOps workflows to ensure the security and compliance of software development and testing processes
  • Implement DevSecOps tools and frameworks to automate security testing and vulnerability scanning throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Serve as the Test Automation SME, responsible for Designing Enterprise Automation Test Framework using best-of-the-breed tools, establishing standards-based ‘Automation and performance testing competency’ for key applications across the Enterprise IT portfolio
  • Publish standardized Quality engineering KPIs, productivity metrics, and Project, and Release Testing status reports, regularly, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives
  • Assume ownership and governance of the Quality Engineering environment, coordinating the build and refresh of databases and environments, and overseeing application build releases to QA environments
  • Collaborate with Change and Release Management Teams across various IT functions, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and SoX compliance, and minimizing incidents in the Production environment caused by business-driven changes
  • Work in partnership with stakeholders to define requirements, manage expectations in cross-functional IT Change Advisory Boards, provide input to various IT teams, contribute to audit process improvements, manage escalations, and educate business partners on successful engagement with IT. Additionally, manage/monitor the IT Change Calendar to schedule regular CRs, business projects, and Retrofit activities
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Electronics Engineering, or related field (Foreign Equivalent Accepted)
  • Software Quality Assurance experience: Seventeen+ years of extensive experience in Quality Assurance for SAP, Salesforce, Workday, SOA, and web-based applications, utilizing both automation and manual testing methods
  • Leadership in delivering large ERP QE programs: 9+ Years of experience in leading Quality Engineering programs as a Sr QA Manager/Automation Architect/Lead in a global delivery model, encompassing all phases of the Software testing Lifecycle
  • Gap analysis and strategic roadmap development: Experience in conducting gap analysis, assessments, and developing strategic roadmaps/blueprints to guide QE initiatives
  • Expertise in RFP/RFI process: Demonstrated experience on both client and vendor sides of the RFP/RFI process, including solution provision, negotiation, and managing complex client/vendor relationships
  • Client relationship management and business development: Strong background in client relationship management, business development, and opportunity management, with experience across various industries and global clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and stakeholders
  • Experience in both Waterfall and Scaled Agile Framework methodologies, with the ability to leverage both approaches as appropriate for program needs
  • Automation testing framework development: Extensive experience in designing and building automation testing frameworks for SAP or Salesforce Implementation or AMS projects, utilizing tools such as Tricentis Tosca, NeoLoad, LiveCompare, QTest, JIRA, Worksoft Certify, UFT, ALM, and SAP Solution Manager
  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the application life cycle management of the SAP S4 HANA platform
  • Experience integrating AI/ML features in testing processes: Demonstrated exposure to integrating AI/ML features into Software testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, particularly for Large ERP(Ex: SAP, Oracle) or CRM(Salesforce, Hubspot) programs
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps principles: Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices, including the dynamic adoption of DevSecOps in SAP Change and Release Management frameworks, integrating tools like Solman Charm, ABAP Test Cockpit, CVA (Code Vulnerability Analysis), Onapsys, ServiceNow and Jira
  • Understanding of Continuous Testing in DevOps CI/CD framework: In-depth knowledge of Continuous Testing strategies within the DevOps CI/CD framework, including the establishment of a Continuous Testing strategy to support agile software development processes, enhancing quality assurance and automation throughout the software development lifecycle
